March means Majorca mountain climbing madness! (Alliteration makes it seem easier – or so I’ve been told!). And this one feels like madness…
With a lovely holiday to Majorca already booked with my boyfriend Sam, we decided to incorporate March’s challenge to our trip with the aim of climbing the elevation of Everest.
That’s some 8,848m or 29,029ft of climbing to cram into a 5-day trip. Sounds intimidating right? Yep, I’m scared too! But hopefully with my pocket rocket legs and roads like below, I’ll be smiling all the way to the top!
Sa Colabra, Majorca, is 10km of tarmac incorporating 26 hairpin turns and 668m of elevetation at 7.1% average gradient…see you at the top! (…eventually!)
